Our Construction Methods

If possible, we like to get involved when our clients are looking for property. At no cost to you, we will do initial research of your proposed site and give you recommendations as to the suitability of the site for your type of development and needs. Simply being a “commercial” property does not mean it will work for you.

Once the site has been chosen we will discuss your goals and needs and then consult with the site and building design professionals, such as a commercial builder in Tampa, to meet your requirements. We handle our own permitting, dealing directly with the multiple jurisdictional agencies allowing us to maintain good relationships with review personnel.

We have an excellent reputation for innovative site design, matching our customer’s needs to the reality of the site. We have been awarded several projects on the basis of our proposed design, which either was the most cost effective or allowed for the largest building.

We view each project from our client’s prospective so that we can translate your ideas into reality by providing solutions to your needs. We “value engineer” from the beginning. Value engineering does not mean cheap – it simply means the best product for the best price.

We build your building as if we were going to occupy it. Throughout construction we frequently ask ourselves “If we were our client what would we expect?”

At Miller Contracting, the owners of the company personally administer and supervise all phases of most projects, from design through certificate of occupancy. We oversee general day-to-day jobsite operations, insuring quality construction and timely completion. Our Contracting History

Miller Contracting was established in 1982 as design build general contractors for commercial and industrial projects.
We are experienced with all types of construction and all types of businesses and have completed projects ranging from several thousand to multi-million dollar. Our projects include church construction, commercial construction, office construction, warehouse construction, and retail construction in Tampa.

For over 30 years we have been successfully providing design build and general contracting services to our clients.
